FAQ

Common questions

Does Aram Clinic perform knee replacement surgery?

Yes. Dr. R. Santhosh Kumar is fellowship-trained in joint replacement (F.I.J.R) and performs total and partial knee replacement.

What women's health services are available?

Full OB-GYN care under Dr. K. Sushmitha — antenatal monitoring and normal delivery, laparoscopic gynaecological surgery (hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cyst removal, hysteroscopy), fertility treatment, ultrasound scans (pregnancy confirmation, fetal growth and follicular monitoring), plus PCOS and menstrual care.

Do you accept walk-in patients?

Yes — walk-ins are welcome during clinic hours. Calling 90426 37799 ahead helps us confirm the doctor's availability and reduce your waiting time.

How long does knee replacement surgery take?

A knee replacement typically takes around 1 to 2 hours, though it varies from patient to patient. The doctor will explain the expected time and recovery plan for your specific case before surgery.

Do you provide guidance for physiotherapy after fracture treatment?

Yes. After fracture treatment we provide clear recovery guidance and exercises to help restore strength and movement, and we guide you through each stage of rehabilitation.

Can I consult for back pain without an X-ray?

Yes. The doctor examines you first and discusses your symptoms. Imaging such as an X-ray is advised only when it is needed to confirm the diagnosis or plan treatment.

Is a female doctor available for women's health consultations?

Yes. Dr. K. Sushmitha (DGO, DNB OG, F.MAS), fellowship-trained in laparoscopic surgery, leads our women's health department and consults for antenatal care, gynaecology and related concerns.

How do I book an appointment?

You can call or WhatsApp us on 90426 37799, or simply walk in during clinic hours. Calling ahead helps us confirm the doctor's availability and reduce your waiting time.
